turbo-IT Corporation Releases Self Service Directory Update tool SMOD (Self Management of Directory)

IRVING, Texas — October 7, 2011 — turbo-IT Corporation today announced the release of the production version of its product SMOD (Self Management of Directory). This new product will allow users to self manage their Active Directory attributes and perform self service of Directory Updates. This product is a continuation of products from turbo-IT that help I.T. organizations empower users to perform self management.

SMOD helps enable customers to perform self service updates of Active Directory attributes through a simple web based interface. There is a powerful administrative interface that allows a great deal of flexibility in configuring attributes. The primary benefit for customers is that Active Directory information is much more accurate and users have access through their applications to correct information. This saves time and effort for both helpdesk and the end users. The product is priced aggressively. A fully functional version of SMOD is available for download.
