Requirements of SMOD

SMOD is a completely web-based Microsoft Active Directory tool.  SMOD requires an IIS server where the SMOD application is installed.  It is intended to be used in organizations that have a Microsoft Active Directory infrastructure.  

The following is required to run SMOD.

Server Requirements

• Microsoft Active Directory (functional level of 2003 or higher)
• Windows 2003 Server or higher - 32 bit or 64 bit
• IIS6 or higher
• .NET Framework 3.5 or higher

Client Requirements

Since SMOD is completely web-based, the user accesses SMOD through a web browser.  The following browsers are certified and tested:

• Internet Explorer 8 or higher
• Firefox 4.0 or higher

Other browsers should also work fine (with some possible display differences).
